Camden Town Project 1

This client, a bachelor, wanted to highlight more of what he loves in his space. Our initial inspiration was a humidor, based on the client’s preference for cigars and his extensive whiskey and wine collection. We spot-lit both interests with tobacco-yellow walls and with a vintage drinks cabinet in the living room. He also owns a burgeoning art collection that includes a Damien Hirst print, which we gave pride of place in the primary bedroom. We brought in his love of Japan with geisha- and Samurai-print pillows and a Japanese landscape tapestry above the bed. An under-window bench hides his workout equipment and creates a cozy nook overlooking the garden, a perfect spot to enjoy his morning coffee.
